In this the China New Zealand Tourism year, CTS Tours are delighted to invite our travel supporters to a breakfast at the Stamford Plaza to enjoy breakfast in style while learning more about China’s most populated city Chongqing. The Chongqing Tourism Authority will be here to talk to you about their fascinating part of the world. Not only is Chongqing home to over 33 million people it is also a city many of your clients will visit as they disembark or board their ship while touring the Yangtze River. Chongqing is also an area many will visit while on transit to visit the Panda breeding sanctuary in Chengdu.

Administratively, Chongqing is one of China’s four municipalities under the direct administration of Central Government (the other three are Beijing, Shanghai and Tianjin). It is the only such municipality in China, located far away from the coast. CTS Tours encourage all agents to take the time to learn more about this well visited area of China.
