Arrival and Relaxation Touch down at Beijing (PEK) where we'll meet you for a seamless transfer to your hotel. The rest of your day is completely free at leisure to settle in, explore the immediate area, or simply relax before the adventure begins. No meals are included today.

After breakfast, your journey starts with a visit to the Mutianyu Great Wall, famed for its stunning scenery and well-preserved Ming Dynasty architecture. In the afternoon, dive into Beijing’s history with a walk through Nanluogu Lane, one of the city's oldest and most charismatic neighborhoods. Your day culminates with a special dinner: a traditional Beijing Copper Hotpot (served in individual pots).

Today is yours to design. Enjoy a free day for shopping, sightseeing, or relaxing. Alternatively, choose one of our excellent optional excursions:
• Option A: Beijing City Highlights (USD $109/pax): Explore the exquisite Summer Palace, stroll down Qianmen Street, and be amazed by a traditional Chinese Acrobatics Show. (Includes lunch, minimum 4 people).
• Option B: Chengde Bullet Train Trip (USD $199/pax): Take a high-speed train to Chengde to see the Putuo Zongcheng Temple (the "Small Potala Palace") and the vast Chengde Mountain Resort. (Excludes meals, minimum 6 people).

Start your busy day in the center of Beijing at Tiananmen Square, before moving into the magnificent Forbidden City. Lunch is a highlight: authentic Beijing Roast Duck. Afterward, visit the harmonious Temple of Heaven. In the afternoon, you'll be transferred to the airport for your flight to Xi'an (XIY). Upon arrival, we provide an escort to your hotel.

Traveler Tip: This day involves extensive walking. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry water.

Prepare to be awed by the Terra-cotta Warriors, one of the world’s eight wonders (sightseeing bus and headphones included). Next, walk along the immense, well-preserved Xi'an Ancient City Wall. Continue the historical deep dive at the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. As darkness falls, immerse yourself in the vibrant culture and illuminated architecture of the Grand Tang Dynasty Ever-bright City.

The final morning in Xi'an begins with a cultural immersion, visiting the Small Wild Goose Pagoda, a graceful monument and artistic inheritance of Tang Dynasty Buddhist architecture. Next, pause to admire the external, striking structures of the Bell Tower and Drum Tower, the historic heart of the city. A final, captivating dose of local culture awaits at Gaojia Courtyard, where you will be mesmerized by the delicate, intangible cultural heritage performance of The Shadow Play.
In the afternoon, you will journey to the south, taking a flight from Xi'an (XIY) to the ethereal landscapes of Guilin (KWL). Upon arrival, a dedicated airport pick-up service will ensure a smooth and swift transfer to your hotel.

Once ashore, soak up the vibrant atmosphere of Yangshuo West Street, the town's oldest and most bustling artery of commerce and culture. The evening culminates in a truly unforgettable spectacle: a special arrangement to witness the world's largest landscape performance, Impression of Liu Sanjie, staged dramatically against the river and mountains.

Following a leisurely breakfast, embark on a scenic drive along the renowned Ten-Mile Gallery. The ascent continues at Ruyi Peak, where a cable car transports you to the summit, offering a magnificent, high-altitude panorama of Yangshuo's unique karst landforms. The day concludes back in Guilin. In the evening, enjoy a tranquil boat tour around the four lakes, witnessing the illuminated beauty of the city reflected in the waters.

Your final morning in Guilin is dedicated to its most famous sights. First, explore the spectacular Reed Flute Cave, the most beautiful karst cave, filled with dazzling natural stalactites. Next, visit Elephant Trunk Hill, the unmistakable landmark of Guilin. Conclude your sightseeing at Dongxi Alley, the city's only remaining historical alley from the Ming and Qing dynasties. After a final lunch, you will be transferred to the airport or rail station at the unified time. Please ensure your flight or high-speed rail departure from Guilin (KWL) is after 4 PM.

  1. Full payment of the tour cost is required at the time of booking.
  2. China Travel Service New Zealand will confirm whether the tour will proceed. Full refund will be made if the tour not materalised.
  3. The minimum number of participants for this tour is 20 people.

  1. Single room supplement : The adult price is based on the assumption that two adult travelers will share a double room (with two single beds or one double bed as per request). Any traveler requiring a single room will need to pay supplement.
  2. Group Schedule: The group has agreed itinerary and schedule. Every member should follow the group during the tour. The sequence of visiting would possibly have to be changed to fit for all the group members’ flight schedules. The specified itinerary, designated hotels, and flight (or train or cruise) schedules are for your reference only. We reserve the right to make any changes due to flight/train schedules and some unforeseeable circumstances. We will give you notice of these changes as they occur.
  3. Each order should be for 2 adults or more: If you are a single traveler, you may contact us and check whether it would be possible for you to join this tour. We will decide according to the booking status;
  4. Hotel Check-in/out: In China, hotels stipulate that check-in should be after 2PM and check-out before 12:00 noon time. Early check-in or late check-out will incur extra charge.
  5. Force Majeure: This tour is of guaranteed departures after we confirm the booking to the clients. Possibly there are events or circumstances beyond our control, like but not restricted to natural disasters, explosion, rebellion, terrorist activities, epidemic, quarantine or political reasons. In case of these force majeure, the tour would probably have to be reorganized or even canceled. Any surcharge or loss due to force majeure will be borne by the tourists (or the third party if there is any).
    Besides possible cancellation, other unforeseen situations might also happen occasionally during a tour, such as accident, theft, illness, etc.. Travel insurance would cover unexpected expenses. So we strongly suggest the travelers buy adequate travel insurance before they start the tour.
